Custom Bikes
I build motorized and non-motorized bicycles, both up-right and recumbent designs. The motorized bicycles contain design elements from the early 1900's, while the non-motorized reflect current and future design trends. The bikes are constructed from recycled parts from old "donor" bicycles, most of which were taken from people's trash.

Firefly 2.0
Firefly 2.0 is an artbot made out of upcycled materials. It skitters unpredictably while flashing an led. In a whimsical manner it harkens back to wonderful summertime childhood experiences collecting bugs. The artbot based on BEAM technology, was inspired by the idea of the emergence of new living forms from the wastes of older ones.

Mini Photo Workshop / Q&A
An informal demonstration and discussion about taking pictures of small hacks and projects outdoors. I will explain how to use reflectors to improve photos taken in natural light, and how to set up the camera. A discussion after sundown will use artificial light but discuss the same principles. Very heavy on Q&A and audience participation. Please note, the project URL is a link to a photography tutorial I wrote for Adafruit Industries. I submit this as an example of my work. This presentation is not sponsored by or affiliated with Adafruit.
